Born in Genoa in 1978, he has always practiced photography as a passion and as a pursuit of knowledge.
During high school, he makes his first photo reports for friends, occasionally working for Genoese magazines.
He enrols in Psychology at the University of Parma. During those years, he attends Mario Cresci’s lectures at the Faculty of Arts and works for a still-life and fashion photographer in Reggio Emilia.
The experience of summer workshops with Patrizia Savarese, Ferdinando Scianna and Francesco Jodice, is extremely productive for his formation.
He gets in touch with the world of contemporary art in October 2003, when he covers the backstage (this work is still unpublished) of Vanessa Beecroft’s performance at the Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art.
In January 2004, he collaborates to a photo-interview project in the Province of Sassuolo: the aim of this work is to understand the integration problems of Muslim families in the area.
He then experiments the use of digital media as a form of rehabilitative therapy for tetraplegic kids within a voluntary cooperative organization.
In Summer 2004, thanks to his series “Ritratti in movimento”(Portraits in Movement), he obtains a studentship and he is admitted to a workshop held by Francesco Zizola and Angelo Turetta.
This leads to a collaboration and he then works as an assistant for a few photographic sets.
In Spring 2005, one of his pictures appears on the cover of a collection of poems.
At the beginning of the summer, he graduates with full marks, discussing the following thesis: “Phenomenology of Visual Perception: the use of optical illusions in art.”
He travels around Mexico in 2006, and, also thanks to the encounter with Ernesto Bazan, he works at a reportage in Chiapas and Veracruz.
He later begins a personal research on people’s collective rituals that will bring him to travel throughout Italy, from Veneto to Sicily.
Back in Genoa in 2007, he collaborates with the communications agency Iconomia and completes his series “Passaggi di Tempo” (Time passages), experimenting a new approach to photography.
This same series becomes in May his first one-man show, curated by Valeria De Simoni.
In 2008 he is selected by Luca Beatrice in order to appear in the review Art among young artists from Liguria.
In april 2008 he takes part in a collective exhibition in Perugia: Filippo Fettucciari Art.
In may of the same year he is selected by Fabrizio Boggiano in order to take part in the Biennial of Photography in Alessandria.
In 2009 he exhibited in photosynthesis in Piacenza and is among the finalists for the prize of the Galleria San Fedele in Milan.

specializes in professional lighting to EFTI in Madrid.
In 2010 he is selected to partecipate in the descubrimientos of Photo Espana.
He is currently finishing the series End of Reality and working on a project of stage-photography.
At present he lives and works in Madrid.
